I might have a chance at this one, but I really would like second opinions. I don't want to go with my "gut feeling" just yet.
Also (I hate to ask) but what is a good price range for this one.

Your right, Weitze charges 1750 for a good example with most of the silver present so in this condition 1200 Euros might be a more accurate price.

Thanks Guys. I'm glad to see my studying is paying off. It is going to be in an auction next month so we shall see. The seller usually has 95% fake items and I hesitated to look at his new list. But low and behold he had quite a few nice originals. I will let you know the outcome.

Weitze has no original GB made numbered badges currently. Original GB made badges are hard to find, and can't be compared with the prices of a much more common unmarked JFS.
As far as this piece goes it is a very nice original . best wishes,
