Hi Gary,
I am sorry, but in my humble opinion this is one of the rather recent well-made AGMuK-clasp fakes. One give-away is the line protruding from the mark to place the hinge in the right place, top-right from the hinge.

Hi Gary,

I am sorry but the CCC you show here looks identical to the fake pointed out by Detlev some time ago.
In particular look at the flaw on the catch base, at about 10 o'clock on the round edge, and at a similar flaw at about 2 o'clock around the hinge (right on the margin of the pic you posted!)

Here is Detlev's picture to compare.

Thanks all for your opinions on this badge.I bought it from a Arms Fair in Birmingham England Off of Flatken Militaria.It was before i got to here what they were like.I hope they look at this site as i will be returning it to them on Sunday.
That will be fun.
