    kind regards,

    Marcus

Also if you care to take a look theres a gold Narvik of mine floating about and a Demjansk if they are fake they can be Georges also a gesture of gratitude to the forum and it's members for thier help. Also a Kuban I'll put up later.

        Hello Marcus,

Not really my area of focus, BUT the back of that example looks cast to me . Look at the marks on the lower right of the reverse. I also do not like the lower 6'Oclock of the obverse. I think the piece is a repo, BUT I could stand corrected. I really do think it to be a cast repo though.

        Best Regards,
        JD

            Hi Marcus,

This is a strange one. In my opinion the obverse is 100% correct. I have never seen a repro with an eagle that looks this good.

The reverse on the other hand doesn't look good. In my opinion the hinge and pin are replaced but the catch is ok. And then there is the "cast look" that for sure is it's weakest point. But without holding it first I'm not sure at this point that it is a repro.

Phillipe is right, from the front this looks very promising, even got the right amount of portholes.
The back is a catastropy though so I would say FAKE
