        Type and Maker?

Ok, the authenticity of the pab is cleared . Now I'm wondering what type and maker of this pab. Any opinions on this?
BTW, I was told that Daisy pabs are harder to find than other pabs, is it true or it's just a sale pitch?

        Thanks all for your help,

"I was told that Daisy pabs are harder to find than other pabs, is it true or it's just a sale pitch?"

I think that's probably because in the past, when collectors were first looking at comparisons of badges with no maker's marks, the distinctive flower "daisy" in the grass of this type of PAB made it stand out, and so it became desirable. If someone had statistics, I think they would show that actually this is one of the more common types of unmarked PAB encountered.

If you want an in-depth look at PAB "typology" and comparisons, look here http://www.germancombatawards.com/board.php?boardid=425 You may have to join that forum to see that section.

In this typology, your PAB is a semi-hollow "Daisy 4." It may have been made by the Schauerte & Höhfeld company, but that is not proven.

          Best,
          Greg
