CCC - Close Combat Clasp opinions please

    Hello all,
Please give me your opinions on this CCC please. It looks more like bronze. It's marked F & B.I under the hook. Original? Fake? Nice? known maker?
    Thank you in advance!

"Butterknife" reproduction! F&Bl is a known maker, but this is a good reproduction of it. Do a search for F&BL here or at GermanCombatAwards.com forum to see what an original looks like.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Do you believe EVERYTHING your dealer tells you??

Instead of more opinions, why not do your own research and find out for yourself. That is where the fun lies in this hobby. Here, I did it for you....the link to the fakes gallery. Your fake is the first one in there:

You are welcome for the opinion, BTW

            Tom,
First, I want to thank you for your quick reply helping me id the fake item. I know you're well respected and I hope I didn't offend you. If I did, I apologzie. Please don't get me wrong, the reason I asked for a "second opinion" was because I'd like to show the dealler I bought it from that there are confirmations of more than one person so I can get cash back.
Btw, I cannot access the link that you gave me, it said I did not have permission to view the page. Can you advise?
            Thanks,

The fake gallery is in the Association members area.

Here is just one thread that talks about these.

And here is a search on F&BL
