Tombak Frank & Reif?

Hi all,

I'm wondering if someone could help me determine whether this GAB (Frank & Reif?) is tombak or zinc. It weighs 13.91 grams.

Under the tarnish sleeps a beauty!

Its a zinc badge. The tombak badge would weigh in at 18.2 grams (ref frank H. book).

Thank you both very much! Funny how the tarnish is migrating from one side to the other. Were these early F&R's silver-plated? I suppose they were in order to tarnish like this.
