IAB RS opinions please.

Got my hands on this IAB thr other day and i like it.
Any opinions on this piece?, all help is appreciated.

IMO I would say this is a fake, the outline of the wreath looks poor to me, finish looks too good and the pin and hinge don't look right either.


edit: Should there be dots betwqeen the initials?

I would like to see a better pic of the front especially of the eagles head.

The reverse set up looks ok to me.

Some highlighted conserns regarding this badge which i find hard to find an reasonable explanation for. Would like to see a better close up on the baynet area if possible.

Die flaw

As Hans mentions earlier it look like a die flaw.
Here is a pic as close as i can get with my old camera.
Found another one with an identical needle setup and die flaw.

Hi un_swe,

thanks for that additional picture which clearly shows that the die had a crack. A long one by the looks of it, running al the way from the bayonet to the sling.
