Badge looks great but it is not one of the two accepted variants, so I say it's a fake, probably Steagemeier.

        regards Den

          Thanks Den.

This badge was purchased in March of this year, so all the comments I can get will certainly help when I get in contact with this dealer again.

          Regards

          Alan

            Hi guys,

I don't have my references in front of me, but didn't Hobacher IABs share the same obverse as Souval? This is a Zimmermann obverse with a Hobacher reverse. Based on that I would say reproduction. I also think the hinge is quite flimsy looking and pin is not typical as well.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

              Hello,

I would say fake as well as this is FZS obverse and W.H. reverse.

Thank you all for your comments

The good news is I have been in contact with the Bob (the dealer) and his reply...

You are always welcome to return anything. The bottom line is always that you have to be happy with whatever you purchase. You can return the badge for a credit towards anything else at anytime.
