Look on the etasnd, happens more often than not. When a few people pay the price everyone sells for that price.

If original it is one of the harder ones to find.

A bronze EWE is worth that money IMO. I have paid a lot more for some of my PAB's, just because some are just unfindable.
        Kind regards,

Admittedly, I've seen PABs on overpriced websites for this much, but I didn't know these prices had become the norm in the community. I guess after a few years of laying out of the hobby I have some "price adjusting" to do in my head. Still, seems outrageous...

            Outrageous?
I pay whatever it takes to have what I want.

... regardless of the price, how can this PAB remain unended by the Ebay-Gestapo? It's not like the guy's doing anything to hide the swastika...

The more heinous thing with this listing is that he/she is charging over $13.00 to ship this within the US!

Ebay is showing it removed now, so they must have caught it.

I agree with Richard - seems a lot of eban sellers charge excessive shipping. I do car part and book buying on ebay, and if they don't specify shipping charges I always ask, after having been burned paying $12 shipping for a book that could have been sent by Media Mail for $2.50.

PAB prices are through the roof, but the buying market supports those prices. I've paid more than $400 for a PAB I really wanted too - in fact an EWE, but in silver.

                  Best,
                  Greg

I haven't paid over 400.00 dollars yet for a PAB but I've been tempted several times

Yep, the dollar hasn't been worth much in a while, and it's gotten worse.... so even though there prices might be steady in Europe, they have gotten more expensive when sold to the U.S.

First of all, I do not collect PAB's. However, in some areas of the world one can find many badges and wait for the right one. In other parts of the world you do not see these badges, if at all. So if you want to be a part of this hobby you will tend to spend the extra money so that you can have what you want. I know that if I spend a little more on a good piece that I don't feel bad once I have the badge in my hand. If your looking to do this for investment purposes, it is not a sure thing. I know one day I will get my money back, but this is not the reason why I collect. My final thought is this, if the price is to high, don't buy it.

Get used to it, wait until you see the Luftwaffe badge prices, if 400 seems like a lot boy are you in for a shock
