The nickel silver obverse, I'm not a 100% sure about this, but Hans n said it looked like a nickel silver when I posted the pictures before I purchased. The finish definitely looks deifferent when you have both in your hand together.

......Sweet. In my opinion these Juncker made IAB's are the nicest of all IAB's. Well designed. These(including the bronze) are high on my list.

Mark, some love the NS....but the zincer is more special in my mind....much harder to find.....no matter what condition it is in....

Hey Gents. Was doing a re-read on some of the old threads and it's interesting to see that as late as 2007, a Juncker N/S got confused as being made from zinc? --In actuality, both the badges here are N/S variants! Note the metallurgy and lack of a round baseplate underneath the "C" catch on the one proposed as zinc.

When Mark posted those badges, it may have been the condition of the top left leaf and the reverse finish appearance that gave the impression of a zincer?

Remember also that around 2007, (as I remember it anyway), these hardly ever showed up, and now they are two a penny

Always good to correct a thread..
