    The Junker CCC Arrived!

Here is the badge I was asking about earlier. It is missing the catch, after all, but I'm pleased other than that. Any problem with it being original? s/f Robert

              hey Robert

It does look like an original CCC. It just has a hard life. I think it's a type 1 Juncker CCC.

              cheers

                Hi Robert,

I also think it is an original, albeit very worn on the obverse. If the backplate is non-magnetic and the pin IS magnetic, you have a textbook first pattern Juncker CCC.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Indy, thanks for the thunbs up! Tom, both the backplate and pin are non-magnetic. It is worn, which I really like - the loss of finish looks like it's from wear, not leaching or zinc-loss. s/f Robert

                    Hi Robert,

Juncker used a non-magnetic pin on their 2nd pattern clasps, the ones with "C.E. Juncker" mark on the reverse (whearas the 1st pattern has the C.F. Juncker). So I think yours is just a mixture of hardware on an original clasp.
