S&L Heer Flak Badge for review, please

    Hello gentlemen,

I'm looking at this badge, with thoughts of buying, and wanted to run it by the eyes of the Heer flak badge experts first. What do you all think about this piece? Do the details stand out to you as they should, crisp?

    Robert

I have one just like yours. Have showed to a few guys at a few shows and all liked it. Even Flak88 liked it when he saw it in the collection forum.

The catch is bent down and cant remove pin. I am going to leave it alone
                as not to break it.

Thanks for the photos. I see more pronounced details to your badge, as I would expect from an S&L. The talons on my badge look out of proportion, less detailed. What do you think? All of the details on mine lack the quality of yours.

Yours could be of a poorer quality zink. Also could be showing its age. I think
                    it looks like its good.

                      Thank you Terry,

My slow replies are due to my old computer about to die. I have a new one on the kitchen table about to replace this old 256MB tomorrow, hopefully. 2.0 Gigs tomorrow.

Thanks for the replies. It's encouraging. I hope others will share their knowledge here too.

Both original badges. You can't go wrong with these.

                            Hi Robert,

Don't worry, that's a nice original army flak by an unknown maker. If the price is right, go for it
                            Kind regards,
                            Giel

In Tuckers German combat badges of the TR on pages 162 and 163 is a badge marked F&BL It looks like the same badges we are talking about here. Could these be made by them instead of S&L Compare them side by side and they are the same badge. Can someone post pics of Tuckers badge and compare it with ours.
                              Thanks, Terry
