RK GAB for review

    This one is in Frank's book and it has a brass hinge and catch that had no finish on it. It also split during forging or hand finishing so I think they were using an inferior mix of metal.

        Robert,
        The pin on mine is steel, which doesn't concern me too much as I know makers used a variety of materials for their reverse hardware. I am more concerned with the different crimping technique for the hinge, but again, it just may be a variation. Everything else I can find on the badge matches other examples I see.

        I'd like it if anyone else out there that has a RK GAB with a crimped hinge like mine could post it for comparison.
