F.O. IAB with doc - opinions please

Hi all,

Got this IAB in silver with a document issued to a German Gefreiter in the 3rd Freiwilliger (Turkestani) Stamm Regiment. Have some doubts regarding both, so your opinions are most welcome! Detailed scans will follow below.

Detailed scans of the doc. My scanner is behaving erratically: the true color of the stamp is bluish grey rather than black depicted here.
