CCC JFS bronze opinions please

Hello!

Show you today a CCC bronze, maker mark JFS! Is this a good one? Think JFS made different types of CCC.
Most of the color is gone, the rest is in an overall good condition. The plate and the pin are magnetic.

Hi Gerd,

Perfect example. Shows all the correct features on the obverse and on the reverse. Correct hinge and pin, correct tabs securing the back plate and the right maker marks. These JFS ccc's also exist with the JFS mark to the right.

But then again you probably already knew that this was a good one .

Let me say, I had hope (or still hope), that this is a good one.

Think I get a little bit paranoid in the last few month about new fake types on the market.

But if somebody would proof me wrong one this one I would immediately sell my entire collection and start collecting zippo lighters with life time warranty

......you should be happy with your CCC by JFS. If I am not mistaken about it, I do believe that the ones with the mm on the left are scarcer. The Hinge crimping is different than what was on the one JFS I once owned, but the die characteristics of the award proper look like classic JFS from my point of view.

I give it a thumbs up.

@Phillipe collecting zippo lighters can be one hell of a challenge, but not as much fun as Third Reich.

Hi Gerd and others,

IMO your CCC is 100% original, a piece that leaves no doubts.
I'm posting here my bronze CCC by JFS, that is the other type (and I agree with Bruce, more common) made by this firm.
Notice the different crimping method and in my example the words "FEC WE PEEKHAUS" are in relief, while in yours are incused.

@Philippe: I'll be happy to trade a nice zippo lighter for your IAB JFS silver.... and this only because we are friends
