Hi Mark,
Personally, I dont like this badge at all and to me it looks cast and not that well done either. Dimensions stacked up against a genuine heer Flak should confirm this.

Hi Mark,
I have some mixed feelings about this badge, but I would also tend to agree that this one is not the real thing.
What I do like are the details and the patina presented on the observe, as well as the catch. What I don't like are the sharpened tips of the eagle's wings, the very messed up hinge, the flat eagle head and the glossy metal.
Would it be possible to give the weight and measurements of this badge? And maybe someone can do the same with a textbook original example he has in his collection as I didn't manage to find one of these badges for my own collection
