A.S> PAB in bronze , original?

    Hello,
What do ypu think about this badge. Did A.S. made badges this form in bundmetal? I have noticed little diverences between this badge and zinkers made by A.S. Do You think could it be an original?

    Hello Grzegorz,

Yes AS made buntmetal badges, they were hollow badges though.

Yours is an original zink piece which developed a very nice patine!

Here's an example of a hollow buntmetal AS, they are very rare and desirable badges!

      Grzegorztr,
Indeed, this is a good badge. However, I think that you will find it to be made of zinc. The bronze examples by this maker held their finish quite well.

      Zinc stinks!

One more note, these early tombak badges do only seem to exist in silver, I've never saw a bronze example before!
        Kind regards,

I never get tired of seeing this maker's PABs. They have amazing detail.
