    Anti Partisan Badge?

Here is an APB, would appreciate any help with this, from the good one I had and others I have seen, this is a hard one for me to tell, slightly different hinge and catch setup than the good one I had.. Thanks for any help.

Looking through Detlev Niemann's book, on page 593, middle of the page this badge does match the pin and catch setup right down to the tool mark on the top of the pin.. I am leaning towards this being a good APB...

Looks correct to me from what I have seen.

Could be a good one, but better pics would help to give a better answer!

It looks good except for three things. There is no twist to the swastika. The hook does not sit on a round base. The hinge is not in an oblong recess.
For these reasons I personally would pass on this one, unless is was really cheap.
                Cheers

I like it very much, absolutely original IMO. In the closeups I can see the recess for the hinge quite clearly and also the catchplate is evident on the reverse shot. The common liberal amount of solder obscures these to a degree but that is quite normal. As far as the twist in the sword hilt, I believe this was something to do with the cooling process and is not evident to such a great degree on some badges. I would buy it in a heartbeat.

                    Hi Van

Thats as original as they get, in fact its a very interesting badge as this one normally has a thin needle!

Could you please send a 600 dpi or bigger scan of the scull, obverse + reverse to me incl. weight height width? my e-mail is

                    Cheers Thomas
