Opinions please on this AP Badge in Bronze

I have been offered this APB in bronze, and not having handled one before, I would like some opinions on this item please.
I have compared extensively to known originals on this forum mainly and the example shown on WAF medals page.
It measures correctly but I do not have a micro scale to wiegh it.
I have formed an unsure amatuer opinion on this peice but would like the expert opinions please.
    Many thanks.

      First glance it looks ok
but I have some doupts about the pin attachment.

I am sure others will pipe up on it as I am far from expert on these.

From these pitures I must say it looks OK.

The barrel of the pin looks funky and the hydra on the bottom left as you view the badge appears to have a rash. The scales just don't look right to me. Perhaps it is the scan though.

I like it overall. I believe the pin has been repaired/replaced.

Thanks Dan. The pin is what has been throwing me all along making me wonder on the overall authenticity of the piece. I think I did alright on the deal in any case seeing what these are going for out there, and there isnt very many of them.
                              Cheers
