Boxed IAB opinions please..

Just bought this set at a reasonable price, but i have my doubts on the hinge, i think its a period repair..And i never saw such a carton for a IAB..can anyone tell me more about it?

The only IAB's I've seen in this exact type of box the bronze bronze FLL depicted below - I own these two and one is even maker stamped on the inside of the lid.

Now having said that, I can't enlarge your pic's but the outer colour and thumb cut etc etc all correspond to my examples from what I can observe.....just !

Close up pictures are required of the reverse to tell wether the hinge has been repaired.

IMO hinge definitely modified and the catch looks very thick.
