I am looking for some wisdom. I am sure that everything once used or worn by German troops is now reproduced. Does anyone have tips on spotting reproduction Drivers badges?

As yet fake drivers badges are very few and far between (but they do exist), however my advice is:
1. If they're non-magnetic then give them a very wide berth.
2. Before you buy post pics here.
I guess you're looking for drivers badges, any specific ones?
One other thing - drivers badges were issued across the board (i.e. in all arms of the forces), so you might get more responses if you posted this in the general forum.

I am not looking for anything in particular. I found a bronze badge that is in unissued condition. I thought it would look good with my field gray one. I thought it lacked a bit of detail in the pebbling near the wreath but looked good other wise. It came with a money back guarantee to be pre 1945. It is not magnetic.
I don't know how to post photos yet. I do have some.
I would not mind having all three classes some day. Like most of my collection, I tend to start looking for variations or different classes, just to make sets. Like my EKs , one is never enough.Last edited by jayhawkhenry; 04-01-2007, 08:42 AM.
