I can only agree with Jeff on this one. Measurements confirm the worst.

One last question, I also read that these awards are very late war (mid 1944 -45) and were poor quality in comparision to the normal standards of german badges. Some of the reproductions are actually too detailed. Is this correct? thanks rich

Thanks guys for all your responses. Whilst it's sad to think that my silver is probably a fake, at least I know that the bronze is probably good and it's always best to know the truth.

Its painfull to discover a fake among ones collection, therefore I appriciate that you go through the trouble and post measurement to help others avoid the same pain. As said by others your silver badge is considerbly smaller (casting) than mine and less detailed so the verdict is

In the last couple of months I have been collecting pics and sizes on these badges and must admit that they are the ones that have challenged me the most. Please help me research these 2. model Antipartisans and mail highres pics and mesurements to: thomasbendixen@yahoo.dk

As soon I have made my conclusions I will ofcourse post them here!

Spot on and in very good condition, one I feel very confident with These are the best detailed 2. model Antipartisans recognized by their three holes and detailed cranium lines.
