Well here is one I also picked up at the SOS yesterday and it doesnt match any FLL PAB's I have seen but it is a very convincing badge but I want your opinions on it.

Wow! That looks like a good unmarked massive FLL to me. I have two bronze, but never seen a silver before.
The only question I would have would be the catch, but more a question of how many types of catches this kind had. The one I have on the Estand http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=204867 has a flatwire catch, but it does appear to be on an area with a raised border like the one you show. I had not noticed the raised border area for the roundwire catch on my other one; will have to look closer at home.
I say this may have been "the" PAB find at the SoS!

Nice one Chris and for sure the first early silver FLL I've ever seen! I have a bronze one with this same raised area for the catch Greg but the solder job is so messy you can hardly see it

Hi Guys,
I do not have weights or measurements because I just dont have the tools to do all that. But when I go back to the show tomorrow I will try and find something or I will just have to send the badge to someone who can do this for me.
It soooo cool to me that I have a unique PAB that others would love to have.

......In my mind the $130 you paid for your badge goes to show how ridiculous internet price gouging has become and why I, for one, refuse to use the internet as a barometer for pricing.

P.S. I sincerely believe this is probably in the ballpark of what internet dealers may be paying(or paying less) for these badges; before they jack up the prices unrealistically.Comment
