Looks like a S&L PAB to me Dennis, however I've never seen one with this type of set-up before I think I would pass on this on also.

I'd like to see good all around views of the badge before I would toss it. This maker is known for the variety of set ups he used.

Hi Don,
Well not a fake Porsche you are right. I do not like the badge as an S&L either. I see no headlight ring for one thing and the hinge and catch do not look like other S&L I have looked at. There are several other things I do not like. From the pictures the badge looks smashed some what. I will post two I have.

This dealer has the worst pics to be sure. You'd think with how much they ask for this stuff that he could spring for a scanner at least....

This is what I first saw when I first looked at it. Bad pictures hurt a lot of badges. I have been surprised by several badges in the past, much better item then the pictures showed. I would get this Badge if I could return it. I do not want to be a kill joy but mistakes cost too much. I see on the Silver one I posted the Headlight ring is not there either. But it does have the flaw on the back. Some of the details look weak on this one. I have one like this one in the start of the thread I will post too.

I think that might be just good, honest wear on the high spots and perhaps a bit of zink pest.

The pic is low res too. We've become used to 360 dpi scans. Look back at some of the older threads, I'm amazed we could ever make a call based on the pics back then.

Don I think you are right. He should get the badge if the price is good and he can return it. Take a look at this one I think it is very close to the one that started the thread. I own this badge too, but have not been 100% on it either way.
