Does Alan B refer to UK dealer Alan Beadle ? If so you can get some very nice original items from him at reasonable prices. Equally, at the same time you have to be extremely carefull as he is well known for suppling some highly questionable items. If it is he that you refer to, do a search on him in the forum. I have to say that I occasionaly buy from him, and to date have never had anything dodgy, all having been given a 'thumbs up'.

There is NO DOUBT Alan is playing games with Leeb and I. Today I received the SAME badge Leeb sent back. This dealer has some screws loose I think. It's the exact badge Leeb posted photos of that he received instead of the badge he ordered photos of. This is the badge we both wanted...who got it? I don't even care any more. Whoever has it, enjoy it. It was definately worth the trouble getting it.

The dealer is at this point in a state of denial, stating that he sent the badge the item # called for, denying any photos that were sent by him before buying. It seems he's playing the same trick on me as he did to poor Leeb. This is the last time I give any of my money to him. I also was charged for a GAB, which never came with the lot as he promised on the phone.

Anyway, without further frustration I present to you, as promised, the badge the dealer sent in the stead of the badge in the previous post. To me this badge is an outright fake, and deserves to be thrown in the garbage can.

David, this too has been my first 'dodgy' experience with this dealer. I've bought a many items through him in the past and been happy with his service. But the fact that he doesn't want to confess to his mistake on this one upsets me.

Yes, sir, that's exactly what I'm saying. Leeb received it before I did, returned it, and I got it next. I wrote the dealer and forwarded his e-mail he sent to me with his photos of the good badge attached. I'm waiting for him to reply again. I hope things turn around, and he does things the right way. I have always like his business.

I really don't know, Chet. I have done everything in my power to help him remember sending me the e-mail with attachments, even forwarded his personal e-mail he sent to me. Maybe personal problems. We all have them too.

I gotta say that I saw that coming. Read the comments on this dealer in the community forum and that should be enough to stay away from him. Good luck on getting your money or the real badge. Making it right has nothing to do with this IMHO. Bait and switch is a criminal tactic pure and simple.
