Good-Fake -Fantasy?

I have seen some of these posted only to be quickly dismissed as fakes. Is this a Faked piece or a Fantasy piece made up by somone or is this one good help me out please The pin and catch look to be from the right period it is 3 inches or 7.8cm thanks frank v.

Total fantasy! This is constructed in England, some years ago.
