W.H. Infantry Assault Badge--Your thoughts

I would appreciate any comments on this WH IAB I just bought. After viewing others I notice the distinct "cut-out" on the butt of the rifle on the reverse. My example does not have this---Is it OK or a dud?

It looks to be casting of what use to be the only accepted type by this maker. I don't care for it at all.

It looks okay to me, but better pics would help.

Upon closer inspection---the badge is definetely a cast copy.
