IAB unmarked. Thoughts?

This one arrives tomorrow. So I have not been able to look closely at it to see if any markings may still be present. I think it is good. The catch is damaged, but not to bad. The item is part of a larger collection of a possible SS captain. The seller will be keeping me abreast of what else he finds as he cleans the house. He sold me a wound badge and this badge along with a fine hand grenade for starters. He said he has seen a uniform, luger, and rifle with bayonet and more medals, so I hope to be posting more pruchases in the coming weeks. Thanks!

I feel I should clarify that the SS captain is based on the sellers limited knowledge and the fact that I have not seen either the uniform or the SS marked bayonet accessory that he described. It sounds like there is a lot of stuff still in boxes that he has not gone through. His description was an SS marked leather frog for the scabbard of the bayonet afffixed to the rifle. If anyone has any ideas on this please advise. Thanks ahead of time!
