*** ISA IAB Silver opinions Please ***

Hello everyone, especially the IAB Experts - I wanted to hear some opinions on this ISA, I have it here for inspection, must return it within 10 days though if I'm not keen in it - there's no maker mark and I couldn't find a similar one in the fakes section.
Should I be keen in keeping this one or return it a.s.a.p? the weight is 32 grams, height about 63 mm (top of head to lowest end of beads or what you'd call them)
    Thanks for any opinions
    Rainer
PS: additional Pics are no problem

I'm looking at my recently purchased Souval Minesweeper, the hinch and catch are both similar with small variations, but Souval didn't make any IAB's did he? A mystery for me. I promise I will buy some literature on the IAB's, it's getting too hard to weed out otherwise. If you have any recommendations on the Bible of IAB's or which ones to avoid, I'm open for suggestions. When I had the Souval Minesweeper approved here on the Forum, I browsed other threads and read that Angolia for example supposedly had pictures of Repros shown, described as originals... , so I'm looking for THE book on IAB's (and opinions on this one, please)

        Research

        Hi Rainer
Did you check these sites germancombatawards.com (formerly infanteriesturmabzeichen.de), iiireichcollectibles.com and Mike Pinkus's site
        ww2militariabuysell.homestead.com.
These all have alot of research on IAB.
        Hope this helps,
        Regards,

I've been PM'd this is an original BSW, can anyone confirm that or disprove it - I want to make 100% sure. Thanks for the P.M., P.!
Here's some pics on a marked BSW ISA I found....

Good database there on IABs at Germancombatawards.com, although they didn't have any reference for an unmarked BSW, I'll keep browsing.......

                Back At You

                Hi Ranier,
Not sure about your unmarked IAB, I just did not have anything that matched. did you try posting over at germancombatawards.com, extra opinions are always good. I think you will get some good responses here (Chet, Frank, etc. )as the day goes on. There are some very knowledegable guys here, just in different time zones and not always on line.
I am following this, my interest is up.
                Regards,
                Bill Gaynor

Thanks Bill - I posted it over there and got positive confirmation from Philippe so far on an unmarked BSW Zinc with silver finish, a few more thumbs won't hurt though. here's a link to the thread over there...

Will upload the pics in the database on ISAs over there as soon as everything's safe for other members with similar inquiries. I'm already looking for the next ISA to check out - The goal is to check out as many ISAs as possible, I need to be prepared for the shows...

Philippe is right about it being a unmarked zinc BSW IAB.

                    Nice catch
                    Regards

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

Thanks Bill, Hans and Philippe! I appreciate that - I had this IAB posted before without getting any response on it, glad it worked out so well this time.
Now can anyone tell me how to tell that this is a BSW piece - the beak, the oak leafs, the rifle?

What makes the BSW IAB a BSW IAB?

Best Wishes to yall and good Morning to the West Coasters

All right - I'm switching forums here all the time, back and forth:
                          Got a verdict now:
It's a early or mid war BSW ISA with a good silver finish. Thanks yall over here and over there teaching the Newbie some lessons.
                          All the Best
