I've been offered these for sale. The IAB looks good to me, which is the one i'm after but the GAB is minus its hinge and catch and is not in great condition, can't see any makers marks on them. Any opinions are much appreciated.

I agree that the GAB is good. However, why would you want one of the most common GAB's in such condition? Save your money as one will be available in the near future.

Chet i agree with you but he has said if i buy the IAB he will throw in the GAB as part of the deal at no extra cost, so it is costing me nothing really. He says its pretty worthless anyway because of the missing hinge/catch and just wants shot of it. i'm glad i was correct about the IAB as i really liked it.

Both are good ... the IAB is an so called Egg Head and the GAB is a so called RK.Best regards, Andreas
