I would say about $2,000 USD for a nice one. You would need to be very careful before you spent the money. Many ways to go wrong.

Dennis has hit the nail on the head. If you can find an "original" Gold TDB in decent shape for under $2,000, you are doing good. I have seen them offered at prices up to $3500.....which explains why I don't own more than one of these.

So, between $2,000 and $3500 for a Gold TDB in decent shape. I was offered one (for the first time in my life) for EUR 2500, so that's within the range... Wish I had the funds...
