The badge is a good one by an unknown maker which easy to reconise because of the very typical oak leaf structure and pin set up.

Just a wild guess but could this be either:
a) The owners army number - (and I know nothing about German army numbers)
b) Some sort of cataloging number as used by a victor to identify an item.

Original badge by an unidentified but known maker. I have seen one of this type before with these kinds of numbers. It was in a Russian collection, maybe that is even the very same badge? These numbers seem like an addition to me, struck in by somebody who owned it or collected it at some point in time. They are of no relevance to the actual maker, is my opinion.Cheers, Frank

The army or Feldpost number can be possible. The Feldpostnummer 57434 exists. Here some infos about
(?) 1. Zug Kranken-Transport-Kompanie Sardinien,
(8.9.1943-22.4.1944) 25.11.1943 gestrichen,
