Yes, a good original, first pattern JFS CCC. These are a lot less common than the second pattern JFS CCCs. Yours has some decent finish left on it, but would get some vaseline on it to preserve the remainder and stop the zinkpest on the left oakleaves.

Thanks for all the input. I picked it up from a very reliable contact....but as we have seen before, even the most honest person can make a mistake now and then. I felt very good about it, but like to double-check myself on my larger purchases.
