"w" GAB with plate mounted catch?

    "w" GAB with plate mounted catch?

    Hello Boy's

    This Wurster GAB was offerd to me, but there is something odd. It looks like a second type but unlike the other I've seen, this one has the catch mounted on a plate. It is marked with the small w on the richt position and the front screams out Wuster! Is this just an accepted variant or a damm good repro?

        The badge looks to be good. The catch could have been repaired and it would make since to have that plate there. If you have Frank's book you can find it on page 201. Here is a picture of my badge for comparrison.
