JFS IAB in bronze for review and approval

Sort of killing three birds with one stone here I've hopefully managed to acquire three bronze grade badges in a group deal, (see my other two posts here)and while I do feel comfortable with all three I'd like to hear what others think re. the authenticity before sending off my hard-earned money

I'd like to hear your thoughts and opinions on this nice bronze IAB by JFS.
    Thanks in advance!
    Rob

For me the obverse finish looks a little strange, like its been painted on. I don't recall one being as "gold" as this, maybe it's just the pic.

              regards

Very desirable, and untouched badge. Beautiful finish!

                  Graeme-

I think it's the picture. In a few of the other shots I was provided with it's not as "bright" or "gold" as it appears in this one.

                  Thanks,
                  Rob

Funny, this version always reminds me of Sam the Eagle from the Muppet Show

                      Anyway...

Here's a side-by-side comparison of two completely different images of the same badge. You can clearly see the difference in the tone and color of the finish, and I believe the shot on the left to be more accurate and "true." Graeme raised some interesting points about the higher points having more finish than the lower portions, but it could just be 60+ years of patina, with the brighter portions "polished up" from handling It's just too hard to judge from the pictures. I guess I'll just have to wait for it to arrive to know for sure what's going on...
