100pc right just a shame the pin is not right for the clasp but that can be put right if you wanted to

then you don't obviously go to conservation and safe keeping very much

I am not sure, if i get you right, Jimmy, but you say, you would ripp off the period repaired needle and replace it with a "more authentic one" just to make it look nicer? That has nothing to do with conservation or safe keeping, thats just messing around with a piece.


I would leave it as it is. Is more authentic with the period repair, wrong needle or not.
