Infantry Assault Badge

This one is kind of interesting. I don't think I ever recall seeing one quite like this before. The badge is completely flat-backed. It is zinc with a silver wash, thick, and quite heavy at 38.9 grams. The hinge and pin are steel, and the catch is non-magnetic. The crimp setup is kind of different too.

I thought the badge looked somewhat familiar from the front. I use to own a marked L/56 IAB, but it had a different setup on the reverse with soldered on attachments. It was much better quality too.
