Unmarked zinc Wurster PAB ... or is it?

When I first saw this, I thought it was just an unmarked zinc massive Wurster PAB, albeit with polished highlights and nicer finish than normally found.

I thought the hinge solder job was a little sloppy.

But when I got it in hand, I took a closer look at that solder beside the hinge. When you turn it one way, it looks like this ...

But put a different light on it, and it looks like this.

I also note a feature of this badge that Philippe has noted on his zinc small "w" PAB... the inner edge of the wreath beside the tank turret doesn't "fade" or get thinner on this one, like it seems to on normal zinc Wursters.

This badge upper left, upper right a BM small w bronze Wurster

Lower left and right - normal KWM marked zinc Wursters

I note another feature that this badge shares with the massive BM bronze small w PAB - the "split" hinge pin, unlike the solid hinge pins of the KWM marked badges.

So, did I get a zinc silver small "w" marked PAB, or not???

            Best,
            Greg

                        Well done Greg.

I saw that one as well and was suprised it did´nt sell a lot quicker as everything else moved really quickly.
