    Hi Kray,

Clasp looks good. Looks to be a replaced backplate though.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

          i know
the front says : BUY ME! BUY ME!
          but the back says:

the price is cheap, now I know why....
and the backplatecatching seems indeed to be a productionfault

I have contacted the seller and explained the whole situation, he is swearing 100% he bought this clasp in Germany
he has never heard of mister Wijtman...
            now my question is:
how big is the chance there are 2 (or more) ccc with the same production fault?

                Kray,

There is no mystery, this is the exact same clasp. Someone has replaced the backplate with something other than the original piece.

You have to make up your own mind. This type AGMuK is probably the most common and it wouldn't be too hard to pick up an original with nice finish, complete with its original backplate. They often come up for sale. The price is OK in my opinion, but I personally would not buy it and wait for complete one. Better investment and you will be much happier with it in your collection.

                  hi
thanks for your reply, I know this is the same clasp, I 've been starring at it like 2 houres, there is no doubt
I really like the front, but like you said, I better wait for a nice one with original backplate...
                  thanks for the advice

                    Hi Tom D.
i have recieved a new picture from the ccc, and there is a difference with the one from Wijtman, if you look at the clasp you can see a little crack on both ccc's, but they are different cracks
the one from the seller has a vertical crack see http://users.skynet.be/kraymedals/cc...es/image9.html

the one from Wijtman is not clearly vertical, but has more like a loop, look at this picthure showing the clasp from Wijtman
                    http://users.skynet.be/kraymedals/cc...es/image1.html
this is the one from my seller, see the difference on the hinge? http://users.skynet.be/kraymedals/cc...es/image5.html

also the catch and hinge is looking deeper into the clasp as the one from my seller
can you see a difference on the eagles?
                    http://users.skynet.be/kraymedals/cc...es/image2.html
                    http://users.skynet.be/kraymedals/cc...es/image3.html

if you see the last picture from the eagle it looks like the backplate has always been there (looks ah the left flank of the swastika)
what do you think about it?
my opinion is these are 2 different ccc with the same productionfault...
I like to hear some opinions from ccc collectors

                      Kray,

"When In Doubt..... DON'T". As Tom has said, these badges are not rare or hard to come by. If you are getting in a panic about this badge, just pull back and see the big picture. Hasty purchasing, in this hobby, can lead to big mistakes.

Do what YOU feel is best. I would look for a nicer CCC without any problems; TEXTBOOK. Sometimes waiting and (saving and) spending a little more can get you a much nicer example.

                      Regards,
                      mark

Hi there, Im not planning to buy the clasp, but whats interesting to me at the moment if it can be that there are more then 1 clasp with the same production faults? If these ccc' are 2 different, but same ccc's on productionfaults, this could be very interesting
so my question isnt, should I buy it, but are these cc'cs different and how big is the chance there are more like these? thats whats realy bothering me

                          Hi Kray,

Sorry, but I am confused. Earlier you said, "........help me out guys
what should I do? I really dont now right now
is it worth the 125 euro?"

But now you just said, "Hi there, Im not planning to buy the clasp,....."

                          What am I not getting?

                          Regards,
                          Mark

lol ok I will explain it again
First I was planning to buy it, but now im still not 100% convinced and indeed I better look for a nicer one with no production fault
NOW these 2 ccc's are interesting me because they looks different but has the same productionfault..
now I'm searching for: Is it possible that ....
                            not should I buy it

I have recieved a message from Wijtman, he still owns his clasp
this means these are 2 different ccc's!
I have never seen 2 with the same production fault
this I is where I was searching for, just an answer and proof these are different
