rather simple question?

were there any awards that were specific to SS units? i am a pitol colllector that is starting to branch out. i enjoy putting together displays and like to keep them original and correct. i am trying to put together a browning high power display. i have a couple of ss sleeve insignia (expensive stuff) and am wondering what woulf be good as far as qualification badges of awards thanks for your help

You can always add a long service award (SS of course) to your display.

As Ludwig said, the long service award is a good choice in such an SS display :-)

thank you for the advice, i think that would would be a good choice. Were the other awards like the IAB, or GAB, wound badge the same? exactly what was the antipartisan badge issued for? thanks again frank

I would look at the anti-partisan badge. Not exclusive, but certainly representative! Just look at the lists of awardees - lots of Waffen SS.

Many WSS-soldiers got the APB, but I would say it´s more of a police award.
I dont´have any survey to back me up. It´s just a felling I have.

Waffen-SS got the same awards as the regular army.
