      Hello Scott,
only the hinge of your badge is different (directly brazed), IMO Jörg´s PAB is with a "hingeplate"

I personally cannot tell the difference between good and bad Porche anymore and have not bothered to ask the "inner circle" what the difference is. I will wait for the book to come out. I wouldn't touch a porsche PAB now days. Too risky unless you know exactly what you are looking for. Which badge is next?
          Boah!!

          Don,

I really don´t get this. There is no "inner circle" and if there is you and Frank are both part of it in that you post regulary and can PM or mail anyone of the other members who regulary participate when you feel like it.

              Back to the badge

Back to the badge, I say good ones are posted by both members. Small differences from the known fake but they are different. I am guilty often of not adding to a thread because I feel I do not have much to add... and I do not want to take a chance on being wrong. I need to over come both of these issues and give more of myself to the forum. I have gained so much from being here and saved hundreds of dollars in buying fakes. This forum and indeed the hobby survives only because of members who post I will try to be a better member.

So nobody has a sense of humor anymore. (Note the smilie) Frank and I are of the same mind on this one which is to get the info out to everyone. I have not asked what the key to identifying these are because if I knew it would be on the forum within 30 seconds. Since I know that the folks that can tell me this don't want it here I choose not to ask so as not to violate their trust.
