    Two PAB's...which maker?

    Dear all,

I just acquired both these (silver) PAB's...can anyone tell me more about the possible makers? I especially like the vertical way of placing the hinge on the 2nd badge....

Thanks in advance for your comments!

    Best regards,

    Coco

      Hello Coco,
IMO the left one is a fake, the right one is a good S&L

            The two PAB's

            Dear friends,

Thanks for all the comments! Again I want to stress how difficult this field remains! When looking at the fake PAB (that shows real aging and a nice patina!) one wonders how far the fakers will go! Just a nice example for all collectors!

            Thanks again,

            Best regards,

            Coco

If I'm correct, the "dumbbell" shaped track pattern is one characteristic traits of the fake PAB on the left. I agree with you, the patina on this one looks rather convincing- from the photos, anyway...
