    Daisy

Ok guys, I have been going back and forth and back and forth on this. Debating if I should bring it up but I figure hey....I will either look like an idiot ( I'm used to that) or at least spark renewed conversation. Why not consider Deschler as the maker (forgive the spelling I had 40 oz. of feedom tonight). The PAB I aquired from Dion and another recently shown on the forum both sport the so called UU hardware seen on WB's from that maker and other WB's from this maker have the exact same catch plates and catches. Ok so the block hinge may be a hang up but still...........there is a bit of circumstantial evidencs here...........any thoughts?

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

      Greg,
Off hand I would not discount it in the least. If it were not for the mis-match of hardware I would really buy into your assumption.

Look at post number 12 in the link I posted and focus on the black wound badges only. Sure looks like Daisy hardware to me.......

Hello Greg, I have a L/10 marked PAB. I will post pics for this thread if you think it will help it.

                Hi Greg,

We are looking at two known examples of PABs with that Deschler WB setup and a plethoria of other setups for the Daisy badges which cannot be linked to Deschler.
There is also a L/50 marked Daisy, one known example so far. So one could also assume it was Godet who made them, if one would just go by these few hints. So what is it, Godet, Deschler or maybe somebody completely different? We just need more pieces of the puzzle.
                Cheers, Frank

Granted Frank, two Daisy variants with "Deschler" hardware does not make a solid connection. Look at the Black wound badge on the bottom in the middle and look at this daisy PAB. Another correlation possibly?

Now look at these two Daisies which I think belong to Phillipe. Block hinge is common on Deschler wound badges and that unique catch is also a common occurrence on Deschler wound badges.........there is one featuring this catch in the link I posted earlier.

I hear you, Greg. It is just hard to accept that the maker of the Daisies is based in Munich, when the design is clearly "L******252;denscheid." But not impossible.
                      Cheers, Frank
