    Nice article by Yuri

In case some of you don't subscribe - but are looking for a reason to - part II of our very own Yuri Desyatnik's IAB article is in the latest issue of The Military Advisor.

Yuri - what the heck is that one at the top of page 11 - an incomplete staming or something?

Yes that is an incompleted Deschler zinc IAB. Marked "L/10".

Awesome article, Yuri! Both parts are fantastic. I especially enjoyed the badges in part two. Many I never knew exsisted!

          "Fank and Reif" ?

Thats pretty funny, especially since one of our members had the same name here for a while....

Accidentally offending people on the internet since 1997

Yea, any chance pt II will appear here at WA?

About the "Fank & Reif", were all IAB's marked the same with the misspelling?

              Fank & Reif

Where there is one--there is always another (if you can find it).

              Enjoy:

                Fank & Reif

What impact could "Fank & Reif" have on opinions of medal packets and outer cartonages with mis-spellings?

Thank you all so much for the good words. I would like to make a correction to the article in this thread. On pages 9 the bottom two badges, and the top badge on page 10 should not have the maker's names next to the mark numbers. Please scratch out "(Deschler & Sohn)", "(C.E. Juncker)" on page 9, and "(Steinhauer & Luck)" on top of page 10.

                  Yuri
