    CCC in bronze in package.....original?

    Dear all,

I acquired this one very recently: a CCC in bronze in its cellophane wrapper. It is maker-marked: F & BL. I deem it an original piece but my buddy 'Arnhem' has some doubts on its originality. What do you all think?
I cannot provide better pics of the back due to the fact that I cannot bend the pin further (without damaging it). There is a fairly bit of bronze finish still available.....

Thanks in advance for your comments!

    Best regards,

    Coco

      Hi Coco,

I'm afraid your friend was correct. This is a fairly common copy. Do a search on F&BL CCC and you'll find many more

Both packet and CCC are copys.

DonĀ“t worry so much about the wrapper. I fell for one of these a few years ago as well

I fell for this combo too

The packet is an out right fake, you will see it in a respected dealer book, but it is fake I'm afraid, I had mine ink and cello (paper in effect it being wood pulp) age determined.

Fairly common to find these fake cello CCC packets. I don't personally even consider them a copy of a genuine sorts at all, every one I've ever handled inclu. Skippies has been of the thicker gauge cello and black 'sit on the surface' modern ink. Sorry I'm not technical, I can go into it another day again if you like.

            Hi Mario,

Did this set came from Beltring, from John Batton? I also held it over there and concluded the badge and package were fake. John is not a bad person, but he's just getting old, if you have bought it from him, send me a pm and I will get you in contact

            Regards

              Hi guys,

I agree, a very common fake CCC. The detail and material used on these CCCs is much better than originals, making it a dangerous fake for those people just entering the hobby.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
