I know nothing about IAB and need help

I know nothing about IAB and need help with this one. I think that the eagle looks like the type found of "Daisy" PABs. I hope you can see that. It is also slightly vaulted. So what do you think? Fire away!

Dennis, in my opinion this one is no good. I believe I have had a similiar one in hand, mimics the split breast feather of a BH Mayer, pobably very light in terms of weight........and the hardware tries to be the S&L style seen occasionally. Couple that with the finish and I would not have it in my collection.

Having said that it is a very good fake, that I believe is coming from makers in France and the US........and could very easily fool even an experienced IAB collector. Is it possible to get another straight on scan of the eagle?

I'm sorry Dennis, happens to the best of us. Going back through my files it is indeed what we suspected.........I have been calling it the Godzilla fake because the eagles head reminds me of the old school Godzilla.

                Dennis,
I'll echo that. At some point all of us get bit by a very convincing fake. I am no exception. It can be maddening but it goes with the territory.

                All The best,
                Doc

I agree with the others, not original and a very recent fake.
                  Cheers, Frank

                    Hi Dennis,

Well that's a new one for me to, where did you pick it up?
