Hi Werner, your pics are not showing up. You need to be an association member to post pics. It is $20 per year membership and is money well spent.
If you would like to email me the pics, I will be able to give you some help with the badge.
    Send them to: ASummerof44@aol.com
    Cheers, Ade.

sorry, these were not maker marked, and you can proabaly count on your hands and toes how many real ones are in existence.

maybe someone else can add something more substantial.

There were 9 Silver ones awarded, and 90 bronze ones. This is one of the rarest of Third Reich awards. (Military Advisor Vol.12 #2: Gregory Douglas)

Plus in order to win any of these awards you had to have the stamina and strength of an Olympic athlete. If you are interested, I will post award requirements.

The requirements are long - so I'm typing them up. But all the information you need is in the Military Advisor that I've posted above.

                        Hi
I remembered that on this website, there was a page devoted to this award showing a wartime photo of a recipient (Hpstuf in the Wiking Div.) as well as the small booklet assigned to it but I can't find it again. Is it normal ?
                        Regards
                        Denis

                          Hi Yuri,

The 9 silver and 90 Bronze awards only refers to one award ceremony, the February 1st 1944 awards at the Dutch SS School in Avegoor. There were many more awards.

                          Regards,
