And a Bronze Seven wheeler with cut out swaz, but the cut out didn't make the cut, by that I mean it seems they used the same die as the BM ones but the cut never went all the way through with the thicker metal, you can see where the cut and the metall is pushed in inside but actually still on the badge.

              Regards,

              Anthony

Beautifull specimens Anthony. You for sure are catching up quick after your long absence.

Anthony FYI, during your absence we christened that first PAB by an unknown maker the "Oval Crimp" PAB as to not confuse it with the üü design "Pillow Crimp" variant

Well missed your third one, sure looks like you plundered a certain place

Anthony compare the grass detailing on this badge with you hollow zink 7 wheeler with cut-out swas and you will see that it is completely different. This is the 2 pattern seven wheeler. Nice one, still missing the Bronze grade myself

                      Dear Philippe,

Oval crimp it is, I remember now that the UU design is the pillow crimp. If I remember right did we not call the UU design something else? L/21 Foerster and Barth?

                      Regards,

                      Anthony

                        Dear Anthony,

Your memory is still in great shape.

For a while we indeed did based upon one single pillow crimp IAB with such a mm. However since then no other popped up and at the same time pillow crimp Wound Badges were found with genuine L/18 mm. So I guess at the moment nobody has a clue who made these pillow crimp badges that design wise can be linked to an unknown Vienna badge maker club.

                          Dear Philippe,

OK, it is the PILLOW CRIMP and the OVAL CRIMP, till further notice. The hardest part is getting everything in order, 1st pattern 2nd pattern etc Hurry up with Frank's book.

I will post a few more when they turn up, hopefully soon.

                          Regards,

                          Anthony
