This is an older reproduction. I think they came out in the 70's.

            Hi Hans,

A very common fake that has nothing what so ever to do with Assmann.

Assmann used a completely different GAB design.

              Hello,

thanks for the info. I did some checking and came the same conclusion that you mention Philippe regarding the design.

The start bid is aprox. €108

You could for example have flipped my book to page 386 where I show and describe this fake in detail.
                Cheers, Frank

Maybe so Frank, but difficult since my brother borrowed it.

I have found one great fault with Frank's book on General Assault Badges: that I am missing far too many of the types he has illustrated! Frank's book has given me another 'mission'.

Surely, this is one great book and has stimulated me to find every type. I really fear the upcoming Tank Assault book!!!!!! I will have a lot of work to do, finding all the PABs I never knew existed.

I don't even want to think about the Infantry Assault Badge book!!!

Bob, I expect there will only be about 6 volumes

                        cheers

                          Philippe,

The hunt is the great joy of collecting. However I would like to complete the sets of Panzer, General and Infantry, before I depart for the Great Void. The clock, the most Unforgiving Mistress, is always ticking away, in an attempt to stop the completion of my 'mission'.

Perhaps you have some extras, Philippe?
