    Badge Maker ID Help

    Gents,

    I am trying to identify the maker of the ball-hinge Luftwaffe Flak badge. I am hoping that one of you may see some similarities with Heer awards that will help.

    The ball-hinge Flak has a very charachteristic reverse set-up that resembles AS in triangle, A.S. and some others, but nothing conclusive. I have located a variant catch that I hope will help us link the badge to a maker. It does not appear to be a repaired badge.

    Here is the classic ball-hinge setup:




    As you can see in the variant, the ball is the same, but the catch is totally different.

    You see my mm AS in triangel bronce PAB. The catch looks like the same you show in the pics. I hope I understand your question correct.

      Thanks, yes. But it is also the same as the A.S. and close to others. I am looking for a maker that ALSO shares the other variant catch.

        Also, the ones I show are in a DEPRESSION, not raised like the AS in triangle.
